Tadelact is an old Moroccan lime-based material that has been used for over 2000 years for interior decoration, especially in bathrooms and hammams. Compared to Marmorino Fine, the granulation of the marble is a bit larger, so the final look of the surface is a bit rougher – it gives the appearance of natural marble stone slightly polished. It can be used in the interior, when you want to achieve the effect of marble walls in public bathrooms. As one of the oldest decorative materials from the Venetian plaster group, it gives the effect of an old stone marble walls and decorative surfaces in bathrooms, as well as sinks and bathtubs.
●The base color is white and can be toned according to our tone card
●The thickness of the coating is about 1.5 to 2.5mm. It is applied in a minimum of three layers.
●With 1kg of material, about 0.5 to 0.6m² can be processed, depending on the quality of the substrate It can be applied on almost all types of surfaces with a suitable primer
●The materials we use as protection are Universal Primer, Moroccan Soap and PU Varnish
●It is supplied in 18kg powder packages in buckets and in 20kg packages if it is powder form
●Tools to use for application: polished stone has been used since immemorial time, but nowadays stainless-steel trowel and stainless-steel spatulas are used
●Additives to use: Terracotta Medium, Salt & Pepper, Mother of Pearl and as top coats; Universal Primer, PU Varnish and Flat Wax
